THE CURLE FAMILY
A labour of love .... Our MAPLE MUSEUM
sitting on part of the original Curle farm purchased in 1862, follow Our Story .... from humble boiling down for home use of past generations to Marc & Diane's 50 yrs. of Sugaring with their Family.
When one door closes, another opens, the Maple Museum was born. It occupies the whole upper floor of the former horse barn. If this old building could only talk. Many workhorse teams have come and gone, now part of it's history. From Indigenous introduction, see Maple Syrup production down thru the years, gathering, logging & threshing gangs, farm kid's ...The lower level still houses the equipment shed, cold storage area, and bit's & pieces found around an old barn. The old harness' , implements, brings back pleasant memories..... step back in time.
WE HAVE VERY SPECIAL MEMORIES OF OUR GRANDPARENTS AND ARE PROUD TO CARRY ON THEIR LEGACY .......
