Winters can be long as we eagerly await the emergence of Spring and the sweet flow of sap in the maple bush. The sheltered Curle homestead is known for holding snow well after the snow banks have disappeared in town. To speed the winter and to add some fun, our family has had snow mountain challenges, where we place friendly bets on when Grandpa's gigantic snow bank will finally melt.
This year we thought we would try something different; open the challenge to everyone and support a good cause at the same time! We also changed it up a bit. If you've been to Grandma's store, you have likely met BARK the bear, our maple mascot. BARK has donned his woolies and will be submerged in the snow bank this year. Pick the date that you think the snow bank will melt to reveal the emblem on his feet and win some tasty maple treats! We ask that you consider a minimum donation of $5 per guess, 100% of the proceeds will go to the Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation to purchase priority medical equipment for our Community.
There are two ways to enter;
1. Visit the store and fill out a ballot, donations accepted onsite
2. Email your date to BARK@curlesmaple.ca and donate online at http://givetocmh.ca/donate/donate-now/
(Please be sure to mention BARK if donating online)
